Exchanging experiences in a relaxed setting at the "Paderborn Corner"

One late afternoon this summer, a number of CDTF students met at the Grill-Café with their advisors for the first “Paderborner Ecke”. Using thumbnail sketches for support, the participants described situations and experiences at their new place of study which they perceived as positive and will keep in good memory. Liu Tianyu (photo left) included the main train station and City Hall as well as the cathedral and the famous Three-Hare-Window. The relaxed round, already familiar to the CDTF students from their Chinese home university as the “German Corner”, is intended to facilitate getting to know each other better. At such “Regulars’ Tables”, subjects going beyond studying are casually talked about. In the future, more German students should participate in this round to e.g. establish additional Chinese-German so-called language-tandem partnerships.
