The invitation to a job interview is an important step in the selection process for a training placement in a mechanical engineering company. In the second part of the job application training, CDTF students and their fellow students received advice on how to prepare for a job interview. Karina Rohlfing and Fu Shihao served as HR manager and applicant. The applicant mastered questions on his extracurricular activities and requirements of the university on practical training. Subsequently, the other students practiced appropriate answers in a job interview in small groups using a sample job offer for a training placement in construction and development. During the final discussion, they talked about suitable clothing and how to best select an offer from numerous job offers and decline the remaining offers.
